FPGA+Linux
The next generation embedded solution

The SUZAKU series is a new embedded device platform based on the combination of FPGA and Linux.

A new SUZAKU-S model utilizing the Xilinx Spartan-3E FPGA and new I/O boards for easy expansion of the SUZAKU FPGA boards have been annouced.

Features

Linux Support

Linux (kernel 2.4) is employed as the standard operating system, offering proven stability and access to rich software resources.

Unlimited Expansion

With Xilinx's FPGA (Spartan3, Virtex-II Pro), various peripherals can be created alongside the CPU core within the FPGA. While being small in size, the user I/O pins allow for easy expansion.

Short Development Time

Short development time can be achieved by utilizing the flexibility of the FPGA and Linux's software resources.

Wide Ranging Applications

From FPGA evaluation to mass produced embedded devices, the SUZAKU are a great platform for network ready devices.

Network Ready

Network ready devices can easily be developed by utilizing the combination of the LAN interface (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) and Linux's TCP/IP protocol stack.

Developer Site

A developer site and mailing list is available for developers using SUZAKU and others interested in the SUZAKU series.
