FPGA+Linux
The next generation embedded solution
|
The SUZAKU series is a new embedded device platform based on the combination of FPGA and Linux.
FeaturesLinux SupportLinux (kernel 2.4) is employed as the standard operating system, offering proven stability and access to rich software resources. Unlimited ExpansionWith Xilinx's FPGA (Spartan3, Virtex-II Pro), various peripherals can be created alongside the CPU core within the FPGA. While being small in size, the user I/O pins allow for easy expansion. Short Development TimeShort development time can be achieved by utilizing the flexibility of the FPGA and Linux's software resources. Wide Ranging ApplicationsFrom FPGA evaluation to mass produced embedded devices, the SUZAKU are a great platform for network ready devices. Network ReadyNetwork ready devices can easily be developed by utilizing the combination of the LAN interface (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) and Linux's TCP/IP protocol stack. Developer SiteA developer site and mailing list is available for developers using SUZAKU and others interested in the SUZAKU series. |
SUZAKU-V utilizes the high performance Virtex-II Pro, which includes the hard processor PowerPC 405 CPU core.
SUZAKU-S employs the low cost Spartan-3 FPGA, with the MicroBlaze soft processor as the CPU core.
The LED/SW, AD, A/V and USB boards offer simple expansion of the SUZAKU FPGA boards.
