Software Compatibility with Armadillo-9
| As Armadillo-230 and Armadillo-9 are software compatible, it is possible to carry out the same development on either model. This opens up options like utilizing software developed for Armadillo-9 on Armadillo-230, or using the greater functionality of Armadillo-9 for development of Armadillo-230 based products. |
Network Bridging
Armadillo-230 are shipped with the ability to act as a bridge between two networks, allowing for the implementation of firewalls and other security options.
Development Environment
The software development environment provided with Armadillo-230 consists of three tools: ATDE, the GNU cross development tools and Atmark Dist.
